A Biblical Bible Timeline Poster Presents A Creative Representation To Aid And Help Teach Biblical Events And Facts

Alas, a numerous Pastors and teachers in our churches continue to preach shallow, flimsy, light weight, superficial sermons and their Church members scarcely grow in Bible knowledge and understanding. Preachers love to preach'moral essays' and'warming affirmations' because supposedly, if we love people this is what we will do. Too bad it seems, if God's men and women are falling through the cracks'for a lack of knowledge' so long as we are positive and loving to all. In truth, the more relevant we become to this world, the less relevant we are to this world.
Some years ago, I was speaking on the burial, resurrection, life and death of Christ Jesus, and a retired minister and powerful preacher of the Gospel, who had been in the ministry for forty years, marched up and reproved me vigorously over some fascinating points I made and he said 1Ti 1:4'Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.' I quietly asked him if I had been preaching anything of a heretical nature at all, to which he answered"No". I continued on to explain that in the case of that particular Scripture, it was not referring to exploring Scripture but to the false teachings and school of thought of Gnosticism, but he would not have it. Let me ask, how can a forty year minister & laborer in the Gospel, not understand and know about something that possibly half the books of the New Testament refer to?
How could he understand and preach the Bible fully without being aware of something that was so influential in the New Testament church? And then how can the congregation hope to understand these things and be in a position to interpret their Bible properly, if they're not told?
Let's us as teachers and preachers stitch together the aspects of God's Word and God's plan into a complete picture that our people can draw on for the rest of life, to help them to understand God, His Eternal Plan, the function of the Church and ways to better interpret the Bible to model our lives by.
It's not difficult to do, and it is not boring if we are ready to put in a bit of study with prayer and fervor, and just possibly you can make use of a Bible Timeline also.
